This painting is based in the early 1920s. The motorcycle is an Excelsior-Henderson, probably from the same era. The E-H was one of the most successful motorcycles of its age winning racing and speed records.
By early April 2014, the original work, a 36" x 48" oil painting by Vintage and Americana award winning artist, Chrissy Mount Kapp, is going on long-term loan to the American Motorcyclist Association's Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Columbus, OH.
Fortunately, there are some limited edition canvas prints available of this iconic scene.
Limited edition prints are numbered in a series of 500. All limited edition prints are hand signed by the artist. Please contact us for availability of a specific print number.
Canvas prints are end-stapled.
Paper prints are also available with a choice of black or white matting.
All frames are custom made to order. Please allow 2 weeks for shipment of framed items. Unframed items typically ship within 96 hours.
